Podejmuje rozważania na temat obrazu przeszłości wyłaniającego się z podręczników i innych materiałów dydaktycznych przeznaczonych dla studentów oraz poszukuje odpowiedzi na pytanie, czy wiedza i umiejętności zdobywane na zajęciach z tego przedmiotu mogą pomóc przyszłym menedżerom zrozumieć mechanizmy obecnego światowego kryzysu ekonomicznego.
