HISTORICAL AND WORLDVIEW SIGNIFICANCE OF PROTESTANT ETHICS

Abstract
Protestant labor ethics – is a phenomenon that influenced Western European capitalism. Proceeding from the notion that the Protestant labor ethic influences the welfare of society, the author pays special attention to why this does not happen in the post-Soviet countries and what needs to be done to ensure that Protestant ethics become an influential force in transforming society and in post-Soviet realities. The author shows that the Protestant ethic is not only relevant for the countries of the former USSR, but it is also a reality that the future society can go to achieve development and progress.
