Later, in the late XIX – early XX century excavations of burial mounds in the area at various times were made by D. Samokvasov, P. Uvarov, P. Dobrovolsky and others. Extremely significant contribution to the study of burial mounds of Chernihiv Podesennya was made by D. Blifeld, O. Shekun, O. Motsya, V. Kovalenko, O. Veremeychyk and others.
