HISTORIOZOFIA JAKO FILOZOFIA POLITYKI. ROZWAŻANIA INSPIROWANE PRACAMI HENRYKA KAMIEŃSKIEGO

Abstract
Filozofia polska połowy XIX wieku miała charakter systemowy oraz światopoglądowy. Była zespołem wypowiedzi dotyczących różnych dziedzin życia: metafizyki, aksjologii, antropologii filozoficznej, przede wszystkim jednak historii. Specyfika polskich dziejów, długi okres niewoli oraz brak własnego państwa sprawiły, że filozofia historii miała być przewodniczką życia nie tylko jednostek i narodów, lecz całej ludzkości. Historia określała cechy polityki natomiast polityka pozwalała lepiej rozumieć to, co minęło. Ścisłe związki historii z polityką wyraźnie widać w tworczości Henryka Kamieńskiego – filozofa i działacza politycznego, jednej z najbardziej znaczących postaci w kulturze polskiej połowy dziewiętnastego wieku. Wskazane w tytule zagadnienia metodologiczne związane z historiozofią Kamieńskiego dotyczą próby znalezienia przez polskiego filozofa odpowiedzi na kilka fundamentalnych pytań. Najważniejsze z nich odnosi się do sposobu ogarnięcia olbrzymiej ilości faktów, które dostarcza przeszłość, ich rozumienia oraz wykorzystania dla teraźniejszości i przyszłości. Polish philosophy of the middle of the 19th century was systemic and philosophical. It included various statements on various fields of life: metaphysics, axiology, philosophical anthropology, but above all history. The peculiarity of Polish history that included the long period of partition made the philosophy of history as an interpreter of life, not only of individuals and nations but of all humanity. History defined the characteristics of politics, while politics allowed for a better understanding of what was happening. The close ties of history and politics are clearly visible in Henryk Kamieński's work - a philosopher and political activist, one of the most prominent figures in the Polish culture of the mid-nineteenth century. Indicated in the title, the methodology of Kaminski’s historiosophy tries to find an answer to many fundamental questions posed by the Polish philosopher. The most important of them refers to the handling of an enormous amount of facts provided by the past, their explanation and usefulness in the present and in the future.
