Abstract
(Methodical Challenges in the Content-Related Analysis of the Web Sites of the Companies) The purpose of this study is to present the possibility of applying the content analysis method to address web content. The content analysis method is capable of organizing the contents in a unitary and generalizable structure and thus providing a database that can be quantitatively and qualitatively analyzed. The use of the content analysis method faces diffi culties in analyzing web content due to the multimodality, interactivity, hierarchical structure and permanent change of web contents. In the study we go through the content analysis steps and present the diffi culties that arise from the mentioned web content features. In conclusion, we can say that the method of content analysis by rigorous implementation of the research steps is suitable for analyzing web content and to draw conclusions about phenomena and contexts that go beyond the analyzed content.
