HORIZONTAL INDUSTRIAL POLICY IN POLAND

Abstract
The paper presents industiral policy as a part of economic policies in European Union countries with special emphasis on Polish horizontal industial policy. The horizontal initiatives in the areas identified as critical for development of competitiveness of Polish industry are presented as well as researches on state aid values to industry in general and horizontal approach.
