Journal Title: Analele Universitatii din Oradea, Seria Geografie - Year 2017, Vol 27, Issue 2

Abstract

The study examined physical and environmental characteristics of the coastal area of Ondo State with a view to providing a framework for effective implementation of rehabilitation and relocation in the study area. The findings revealed that the environment is not good enough for human habitation due to lack of abasic amenities in the area. The study concluded that while housing facilities in the coastal area of Ondo State, like many others in Nigeria were in a deplorable state, there is an urgent need to attend to the concerned area for better living of the coastal dwellers.
