HOW TO SAVE THE LIFE OF A MINER IN THE MINE EMERGENCY SITUATION

Abstract

The coal mines of Russia are among the most dangerous, and possibly even the most dangerous industrial facilities. Work in coal mines is attributed to work with harmful and dangerous conditions for human health. The problem of protecting coal miners from negative impacts of harmful factors includes a wide range of issues, but this paper discusses issues related to ways and means of self-rescue of people in the initial period of the accident. Self-rescue methods consist in the fact that when an accident occurs, miners, having joined themselves in self-rescuers, leave the emergency area to the fresh air stream. This self-rescue system is onestage. On foreign mines a two-stage self-rescue system is used. Lightweight, worn on the belt, along with the lamp, self-rescuers allow you to leave the workplace in the event of an accident to the point of switching to self-rescuers with a long action period. This self-rescue system is proposed to be introduced in the Russian coal industry.
