Bronchoalveolar Lavage fluid analysis revealed high titres of Bocavirus by PCR. Case characteristics : 10 month old infant presenting with fever, cough and coryza for 3 days progressed to acute respiratory failure. Outcome: Bronchoalveolar Lavage fluid analysis revealed high titres of Bocavirus by PCR.
