Journal Title: UNKNOWN - Year 2018, Vol 2, Issue

Abstract

The article attempts to disclose and develop the method of Kino-Eye by Dziga Vertov. The method of Kino-Eye does not deny but rather substantiates the fundamental importance of figurative perception in art. This article reviews the question of correlation of the notions “figurative perception” and “experienced perception” to the problem of audio-visual from the perspective of the mimesis. Particular attention is paid to the role of synchronous sound in connection with the definition of method Kino-Eye. The author draws attention to the possibility of synchronous sound preserving the meaning of asynchronous sound.
