Hybrid Orthonormal Bernstein and Block-Pulse Functions for solving nonlinear Volterra integral equations
Journal Title: Scholars Journal of Physics, Mathematics and Statistics - Year 2017, Vol 4, Issue 2
Abstract
In this paper, A numerical method based on an set of general, orthonormal Bernstein functions coupled with Block-Pulse Functions on the interval [0,1] to solve non linear Volterra integral equations of the second kind, numerically. First we introduced the proposed hybrid method, then we used it to transform the integral equations to the system of algebraic equations. The obtained numerical results of the proposed methods are compared with exact solution to show the convergence and advantages of the new method. the operational matrix of integration together with Newton-Cotes nodes are utilized to reduce the computation of nonlinear Volterra integral equations into some algebraic equations, the numerical example illustrate the efficiency and accuracy of this method.

On The Negative Pell Equation y2=15x2-6
The negative Pell equation represented by the binary quadratic equation is analyzed for its non-zero distinct integer solutions. A few interesting relations among the solutions are presented. Employing the solutions o...
The Digital Features of the Function of Order Statistics
In this paper, we deduce the digital features of the function of order statistics by the probability density function of order statistics and the properties of the Euler integral.
Survey of Attitudes toward Statisticsfor BusinessUndergraduates
In business education, statistics course has traditionally been taught at the undergraduate level curriculum to enable them to design, present, analyze, and interpret data in their field and will serve asbasis in making...
The Stability of the Triangular Points of the Restricted three Body Problem when both the Primaries are Triaxial Rigid Bodies
The location and the stability of the triangular points of the planar restricted three body problem have been discussed when both the primaries are triaxial rigid bodies considering the case of stationary rotational mot...
