Hybrid Prefetching for Improving Page Hit-Ratio
Journal Title: International Journal of Science and Research (IJSR) - Year 2015, Vol 4, Issue 3
Abstract
Web prefetching techniques help in improving web page hit-ratio and reducing user perceived latencies by fetching in advance, the most useful web objects into proxy sever cache. This paper explains the integrated prefetching approach that combines Domain top prefetching and Dynamic web prefetching. The data obtained from this approach is based on user access patterns and is stored into the proxy server cache to solve the problem of cache replacement and as a result the hit-ratio is increased.
Estimation of Solar UV-B Radiation at Visakhapatnam and its Variability with Columnar Ozone
Measurements of solar UV-B radiation in the biological band (280 nm – 320 nm) with the help of ground based UV-B Photometer at VISAKHAPATNAM (17.70 N, 83.30 E) have been used to develop a simple regression model. The mod...
A New Link Based Approach for Categorical Data Clustering
The data generated by conventional categorical data clustering is incomplete because the information provided is also incomplete. This project presents a new link-based approach, which improves the categorical clustering...
Fault Tolerant Linear State Machine Design Approach for Safety Critical Systems Implemented on FPGA
: In this paper, a new method for the design of fault tolerant linear state machines with initial state 0 and one dimensional input and one-dimensional output is proposed. It is shown that the LFSR-implementation of the...
R-Restricted Steiner Problem is NP-Complete
This work aims to arrive a Steiner minimum tree with -terminals. Every full component of a Steiner tree contains almost 4 terminals. In this work, we propose to flash R-restricted Steiner problem which is NP-complete.
