I-CAN: Information-Centric Future Mobile and Wireless Access Networks
Journal Title: EAI Endorsed Transactions on Cloud Systems - Year 2016, Vol 2, Issue 7
Abstract
This short paper describes the objectives and initial results of project I-CAN: Information-Centric Future Mobile and Wireless Access Networks. I-CAN seeks to radically advance the integration of cellular and wireless access technologies by developing and evaluating architectures and procedures for future access networks based on Information-Centric Networking (ICN).

Using Cloud-assisted Body Area Networks to Track People Physical Activity in Mobility
This paper describes a novel BSN-based integrated system for detecting, monitoring, and securely recording human physical activities using wearable sensors, a personal mobile device, and a Cloud-computing infrastructure...
Necessary & Sufficient Conditions for Consistency of Haar Wavelet Expressions to their resizable Hadoop Cluster Channels and Complexity
Abstract—We develop a novel technique for resizable Hadoop cluster’s lower bounds, the bipartite matching rectangular array of Haar Wavelet expressions. Specifically, fix an arbitrary hybrid kernel function 𝒇 ∶ {𝟎, 𝟏}𝒏 →...
A New QoE-Driven Video Cache Allocation Scheme for Mobile Cloud Server
With the advent of mobile cloud computing, video cache technologies at local cellular networks have attracted extensive attention. Nevertheless, existing video cache allocation schemes mostly made decisions only accordin...
Overview - Fog Computing and Internet-of-Things (IOT)
The Internet today is getting connected to a very large number of devices or sensors of IOT. It is expected that 50 billion devices will be connected to the Internet by 2020..The IOT driven global economy will have many...
Specifying and Monitoring Properties of Stochastic Spatio-Temporal Systems in Signal Temporal Logic
We present an extension of the linear time, time-bounded, Signal Temporal Logic to describe spatio-temporal properties. We consider a discrete location/ patch-based representation of space, with a population of interacti...
