ILLEGAL APPEAL OF SHOOTING-IRON, AMMUNITION OR EXPLOSIVES AS OBJECT OF OPERATIVE SEARCH BY CRIMINAL SEARCH SUBSECTIONS

Abstract
Certain general problems of counteracting crimes related to the illegal appeal of shooting-iron, ammunition or explosives have been defined in the article. It is set that in the conditions of anti-terror operation leadthrough in the east of Ukraine information retrieval about illegal activity of individuals and groups committing crimes investigated is priority direction of subsections of criminal search activity. Operative search of crimes is one of organizational and tactical forms of operative and search activity. Initiative, active and offensive primary information retrieval about illegal criminal ventures of some individuals and groups takes place within its framework by the of present operative and search forces facilities and methods. This information is used for implementation of tasks of criminal realization after their estimation and analysis. The analysis of the interaction between Criminal Investigation divisions and the pre-trial investigation on the stages of early detection and preliminary investigation of crimes related to illicit trafficking in firearms, ammunition or explosives has been done. It has been found that in terms of anti- terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine quick search of information on illegal activities of individuals or groups who commit crimes investigated is priority of the Criminal Investigation units. Attention to the need to improve training of Ukraine National Police operatives to combat illicit trafficking in firearms, ammunition or explosives has been drawn.
