Image Quality Assessment for Multi Exposure Fused Images

Abstract

Multi-exposure picture combination (MEF) is viewed as a successful quality improvement procedure generally received in buyer gadgets. In this paper, we do a subjective client study to assess the nature of pictures created by various MEF calculations. No single MEF algorithm produces the best quality for all images. Motivated by the lack of appropriate objective models, we propose a novel target picture quality appraisal (IQA) calculation for MEF images based on the principle of the structural similarity index (SSIM) approach to find quality maps of the test images. Our experimental results on the images shows that the proposed model gave good results based on quality map, MSE and PSNR values.
