Image schemas as the preconceptual basis of empathy.

Abstract
The article focuses on the role of image schemas SCALE, PATH, and UP-DOWN as preconception basis for empathy categorization. The conceptual structure of empathy based on image schema SCALE is determined. The representation of empathy process structured by image schema PATH is analyzed.
