IMMERSIVE JOURNALISM: APPROACHES TO THEORY AND PROBLEMS OF EDUCATION

Abstract
Immersive journalism as a new phenomenon is actively discussed nowadays by media experts and within the academic community. In this paper first attempts of theoretical reflection on immersive journalism is undertaken by Russian researchers of mass media and journalism. Foreign and Russian practices of immersive journalism implications in conjunction with emerging professional ethical collisions are described. Possible ways of immersive technology applications in education of future journalists are proposed.
