Abstract

Spontaneous abortions are common and are seen in approximately 15-20% of pregnancies and majority of sporadic losses before 10 wks gestation result from chromosomal abnormalities. Recurrent pregnancy loss is defined as two or more failed clinical pregnancies. The risk of pregnancy loss increases with successive pregnancy loss.
