Impacts of Climate Change on the Statistical Trends of Monthly and Annual Flood Discharges in the Kashafrood River Basin Iran
Journal Title: Journal of Drought and Climate change Research (JDCR) - Year 2023, Vol 1, Issue 2
Abstract
The planet's climate has lost its balance in recent decades, so the issue of climate change has attracted much attention In the study of climate change, long-term statistics can show changes to a large extent. The purpose of this study was to investigate the statistical trend of monthly and annual series, flood discharge of Kashafrood river basin . Therefore, the statistical data of the last 65 years related to the monthly and annual series of the station were examined. Mann-Kendall test was used to check whether it was random or non-random, for the trend, type and time of change, which was observed in 5 months of the year increasing trend and in 7 months of sudden jump. Linear regression method was used for correlation of dependent and independent variables, which in most months, moderate or weak correlation was observed. Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis tests were used to evaluate the significance of jump points, which were significant in most months except November and June.

Investigating the Interaction Effects of Meteorological Parameters on Evaporation from the Water Surface Using Variance Analysis
To investigate the main and interactive effects of various meteorological parameters on the rate of evaporation from the water surface, variance analysis was used. Based on the analysis, all the mentioned parameters had...
Investigating the Condition of Iran's Temperature Changes Compared to the Past Long-Term Climatic Standard Period
This study uses a three-level analytical approach to investigate temperature changes in Iran and their implications for the agricultural sector. At the first level, a quantitative analysis of temperature changes was cond...
Investigating Temporal Changes of Infiltration in Furrow Irrigation of Sugarcane Fields
The climate change, the intensity and continuity of drought periods, will affect the frequency of its occurrence in the coming decades. Iran is one of the countries that suffered the most damage from drought. Soil infilt...
Estimation of the spatial distribution of the groundwater quality using the combined method of Geostatistic_ Artificial neural network (Case study: the aquifer in the Miandoab plain)
