Abstract
The article presents impedances of the rail vehicle axle as one of the elements tested in the approval process of railway vehicles. Therefore, shunt impedance limits of track circuits used on the polish rail network infrastructure and methods of testing rolling stock axle resistance and impedance were discussed. Axles resistance and impedance measurement results of selected rolling stock were presented.
