IMPLEMENTASI TES PSIKOLOGI DALAM BIDANG PENDIDIKAN

Abstract
Psychological testing is a tool used by psychologists in assessing an individual in accordance with the objectives of the tests given. The psychological tests to be especially essential for educators, counselors (guidance counselor), as well as the parents in understanding the potentials, talents or abilities of students. In presenting functions of psychological test results, psychological tests can be used as a predictive tool, a diagnostic aid, a monitoring tool (monitoring), and as an evaluation instrument. Especially in the fields of education, psychology test data is usually used for the selection of candidates majors or students planning course selection students study at a higher level, career guidance programs, handling the cases that often occur in education, such as student with learning difficulties, gifted children, difficulties in adjusting themselves, disturbances in concentration, dyslexia, and so on
