IMPLEMENTATION OF INTERDISCIPLINARY RELATIONS IN THE FORMATION OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE OF FUTURE CHEFS

Abstract
Introduction. The rapid development of food industry, the emergence of innovation in the technology of cooking, put forward new requirements for professional competence of chefs. One of the most effective means of formation of professional competence of future chefs in professional and technical education is the realization of interdisciplinary relations in learning. The article deals with the nature of interdisciplinary relations. The views of scientists on ways how to implement interdisciplinary relations in the educational process are analyzed. We describe the state of implementation of interdisciplinary relations in the formation of professional competence of future chefs. Methods. Theoretical: study and analysis of pedagogical, psychological and professional literature, legal and educational documents and materials on training skilled workers. Results. Implementation of interdisciplinary connections in the education of future chefs makes it possible to improve the quality of learning and reproduction of educational material to ensure the effectiveness of the educational process, helps to transform the knowledge into the qualification and skills, and thus to form the professional competence of future chefs. Discussion. Prospects for further research associate with the explanation of educational technology for the realization of interdisciplinary relations and their role in the formation of professional competence of future chefs.
