IMPLEMENTATION OF MEDICAL INSURANCE IN THE UNITED TERRITORIAL COMMUNITIES: CHALLENGES AND PERSPECTIVES (BY THE EXAMPLE OF THE LVIV REGION)

Abstract
The preconditions for the introduction of health insurance in the united territorial communities formed as a result of financial and administrative decentralization in the Lviv region are considered in the article. The analysis of the network of medical institutions, evaluation of financial resources and the main barriers to the introduction of insurance principles are made. The prospects for the development of health insurance at the level of the united communities are singled out.
