Important reading list. Realization of the message of Maria Dudzikowa about careful study of literature

Abstract
The aim of the article is to trigger reflection on the message of Maria Dudzikowa concerning the importance of a careful study of literature by young researchers. The memories of the conversations with the professor among and in the vicinity of books - in literal or symbolic meaning- served as an inspiration factor. The selected texts by Florian Znaniecki - one of many authors appearing on " a reading list of significant titles ", which she encouraged her students and followers to reach for- are the subject of the analysis. The direction of discussion is determined by the connections between the issues raised in "Sociology of education" and the problem areas that M. Dudzikowa dealt with.<br/><br/>
