Improvement of automated control systems for the nitrobenzene washing process

Journal Title: Modern Innovations, Systems and Technologies - Year 2025, Vol 5, Issue 2

Abstract

The article discusses the modernization of automated process control systems for the nitrobenzene washing stage in chemical production. The main focus is on improving process efficiency and safety, as well as ensuring compliance with current requirements for product quality, environmental safety, and occupational health. The implementation of advanced microprocessor-based automation tools, distributed control systems (DCS), and programmable logic controllers (PLC) is proposed, enabling more accurate regulation of key process parameters (temperature, pH, component dosing), reducing the risk of accidents, and improving working conditions. The implementation results demonstrate increased process stability, reduced product defects, and full compliance with stringent regulatory requirements
