Improvement of the institute of municipal service in Ukraine through the prism of moral standards.

Abstract
The subject of this article is the institute of municipal service in Ukraine and its improvement through the prism of moral standards. The article analyzes the requirements for candidates for municipal service, which are reflected in the Laws of Ukraine «On Service in Bodies of Local Self-Government» of June 7, 2001 № 2493-III, «On Local Elections» of July 14, 2015 № 595-VIII and other regulatory acts. Legislative proposals on bringing these normative legal acts in line with the rule of law principle are formulated.
