Abstract
The article reveals the essence of reaction to the crisis situations that threaten the national security from the perspective of its improvement during the events aimed at creating security and defense sector. It analyses the place of reaction to crisis situations that endanger the national safety among the functions of components of the security and defense sector. The model of crisis reaction is proposed.
