Improving Quality of Vietnamese Text Summarization Based on Sentence Compression
Journal Title: International Journal of Advanced Computer Science & Applications - Year 2016, Vol 7, Issue 2
Abstract
Sentence compression is a valuable task in the framework of text summarization. In previous works, the sentence is reduced by removing redundant words or phrases from original sentence and tries to remain information. In this paper, we propose a new method that used Grid Model and dynamic programming to calculate n-grams for generating the best sentence compression. These reduced sentences are combined to text summarization. The experimental results showed that our method really effective and the text is grammatically, coherence and concise.

Development of an Improved Algorithm for Image Processing: A Proposed Algorithm for Optimal Reduction of Shadow from the Image
Shadow detection is the most important aspect in the field of image processing. It has become essential to develop such algorithms that are capable of processing the images with the maximum efficiency. Therefore, the res...
Improvement on Classification Models of Multiple Classes through Effectual Processes
Classify cases in one of two classes referred to as a binary classification. However, some classification algorithms will allow, of course the use of more than two classes. This research work focuses on improving the res...
Diversity-Based Boosting Algorithm
Boosting is a well known and efficient technique for constructing a classifier ensemble. An ensemble is built incrementally by altering the distribution of training data set and forcing learners to focus on misclassifica...
Object Detection System to Help Navigating Visual Impairments
The number of people with severe visual impairments and blind people in the world is 216.6 million and 38.5 million, respectively in 2018 and that number will increase every year. While the development of Computer Vision...
Towards Implementing Framework to Generate Myopathic Signals
In this paper, we describe a simulation system of myopathicsurface electromyography (sEMG) signals. The architecture of the proposed system consists of two cascading modules. SEMG signals of three pathological skeletal m...
