Improving Translation Quality By Using Ensemble Approach
Journal Title: Engineering, Technology & Applied Science Research - Year 2018, Vol 8, Issue 6
Abstract
Machine translation (MT) has been a topic of great research during the last sixty years, but, improving its quality is still considered an open problem. In the current paper, we will discuss improvements in MT quality by the use of the ensemble approach. We performed MT from English to Hindi using 6 MT different engines described in this paper. We found that the quality of MT is improved by using a combination of various approaches as compared to the simple baseline approach for performing MT from source to target text.

Numerical Analysis of Crack Progress in Different Areas of a Friction Stir Welded Bead for an 5251 H14 Aluminum Alloy Specimen
The assemblies welded by Friction Stir Welding have a major advantage which is the absence of a metal filler. This process contributes to the welding of materials that are known to be difficult to weld using the conventi...
An Improved Clarke and Wright Algorithm to Solve the Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem
This paper proposes an effective hybrid approach that combines domain reduction with the Clarke and Wright algorithm to solve the capacitated vehicle routing problem. The hybrid approach is applied to solve 10 benchmark...
Numerical Simulation of 1D Unsteady Heat Conduction-Convection in Spherical and Cylindrical Coordinates by Fourth-Order FDM
This paper aims to apply the Fourth Order Finite Difference Method (FDM) to solve the one-dimensional unsteady conduction-convection equation with energy generation (or sink) in cylindrical and spherical coordinates. Two...
Numerical Analysis of SHB Effects in Laterally-Coupled Distributed Feedback (LC-DFB) Lasers
In this paper the stability of Laterally-Coupled Distributed Feedback (LC-DFB) Lasers against the Spatial Hole Burning (SHB) effect is analyzed theoretically. The stability of the laser structure is evaluated using the f...
The Effect of Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles on Safflower Plant Growth and Physiology
In this paper, a study of the effect of ZnO nanoparticles on safflower growth and physiology was performed. Each of these elements plays a particular role in the plant life, the presence of these elements is necessary fo...
