In Sample of L’Illustration Magazine, Militarism in World War II Period Periodical Advertising

Abstract
World War II (1939-1945) which is one of the most bloody and deathful wars of history is also the period militarism was involved in daily life most intensively. In this study named; In Sample of L’Illustration Magazine, Militarism in World War II Period Periodical Advertising, said characteristics of militarism has been, within the scope of a literature review, scrutinized over periodicals and periodical advertising. Accordingly, in the first section of the study where L’Illustration, one of the most long-running magazines of France, is used as main sample; subjects of World War II and militarism are involved. As for the second section; first of all, sense of periodical of the period and afterwards effect of militarism on classified ads which are included in related publications have been mentioned. In conclusion, received data is discussed and a general assessment is executed.
