INCIDENCE AND SEXUAL PREPONDERANCE OF CONGENITAL MALFORMATIONS IN NICU, AT RIMS, RAICHUR

Abstract

This is a prospective study of congenital anomalies in babies admitted to NICU at RIMS teaching hospital from September 2014 to March 2015 and half yearly incidence was noted. The anomalies were classified into gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, nervous system, orofacial abnormalities, musculoskeletal and multisystem disorders. Each of them was further observed for sexual preponderance.
