Journal Title: The Indian Practitioner - Year 2015, Vol 68, Issue 9
Abstract
Paramesonephric cysts are very rare, so are not suspected, leading to delay in diagnosis causing irreversible renal damage. Reports of bigger cysts, upto 8-10 cms are seen in adults. Timely intervention helps in preventing damage. We present a case of such a cyst seen in a neonate within days of birth, where diagnosis was made intraoperatively.
