Incorporation of FACTS Controllers in Newton Raphson Load Flow for Power Flow Operation, Control and Planning: A omprehensive Survey
Journal Title: International Journal on Computer Science and Engineering - Year 2010, Vol 2, Issue 6
Abstract
This paper presents a comprehensive survey of incorporation of FACTS controller such as SVC, TCSC, SSSC, STATCOM, UPFC, and IPFC devices in Newton- Raphson load flow (NRFL) for power flow control. The purpose of this paper is to present a comprehensive survey of various FACTS controllers are incorporated in load flow analysis for different point of view such as optimal power flow control, planning and operations of large-scale power system networks. Authors strongly believe that this survey article will be very much useful to the searchers for finding out the relevant references in the field of optimal power flow control of FACTS Controllers in multi-machine power systems.
