INDEPENDENT WORK AS A FORM OF PROFESSIONALISM OF FUTURE SPECIALISTS

Abstract

Introduction. Modern labor-market in light of employment opportunities and increasing demands for professional competence of graduates requires new and better forms and methods of teaching. The educational system has to be changed factoring in lifelong learning and individual study approaches and focusing on development of students’ self-study and self-assessment skills. Methods. The article highlights the modern methods of individual study organization of Food technology and engineering department students at Mohyliv-Podilskyi tecnological and economic college Vinnitsa NAU through the use of innovative educational technologies. Results. Individual study organization aims at developing of creative thinking and mastering of basic research, self-study and professional skills. Discussion. Effective teacher plays a vital role in establishing productive individual study system. Teacher has to recognize and develop student’s skills of scientific data analysis, self-organization and self-education in order to create the ability to further professional activity. Therefore, the focus on intensive individual work in higher education will certainly facilitate the future process of professional adaptation.
