Indirect 3D-Space Vector Modulation for Matrix Converter
Journal Title: Engineering, Technology & Applied Science Research - Year 2018, Vol 8, Issue 2
Abstract
This paper discusses the indirect space vector modulation for four-leg matrix converter. Four-leg matrix converter has been proven to be a reliable, cost-effective, and compact power electronic interface to supply unbalanced or nonlinear loads. However, the added fourth leg has shifted the inverter side modulation from simple two-dimension SVM into complex three-dimension. This paper employs a new technique to implement indirect 3D SVM in digital controllers with further simplification in the modulation process. Moreover, Simulink simulation using repetitive controller has been performed to regulate the output voltage for 400 Hz Power supplies.

Steganography and Hiding Data with Indicators-based LSB Using a Secret Key
Steganography is the field of science concerned with hiding secret data inside other innocent-looking data, called the container, carrier or cover, in a way that no one apart from the meant parties can suspect the existe...
Photoelastic Analysis of the Vertebral Fixation System Using Different Screws
The purpose of this study was to compare using photoelasticity, the internal stresses produced by two types of pedicular screws (Synthes™) with three different diameters, when submitted to different pullout strengths. Th...
A Comparative Study of Construction Waste Generation Rate Based on Different Construction Methods on Construction Project in Malaysia
High construction waste (CW) generation in Malaysia has serious impacts although there are very little available data regarding the relevant issue in Malaysia. This lack of data results in improper CW management and CW d...
A Simple Square Rooting Circuit Based on Operational Amplifiers (OPAMPs)
A simple circuit which accepts a negative voltage as input and provides an output voltage equal to the square root of the input voltage is described in this paper. The square rooting operation is dependent only on the ra...
Effect of the Improved Pall Friction Damper on the Seismic Response of Steel Frames
Energy-absorbing dampers are used to reinforce structures which are vulnerable to earthquakes. This study evaluates the performance of Improved Pall Frictional Dampers (IPFD) which is a type of Pall Frictional Damper (PF...
