Induction Motor Efficiency Monitoring using CAN Protocol
Journal Title: International Journal for Research in Applied Science and Engineering Technology (IJRASET) - Year 2017, Vol 5, Issue 3
Abstract
In many manufacturing based industries, motors will always be one of the main components. Starting from one or two motors, it goes up to hundred thousands of them. When there are a lot of motors in a single company, it becomes tough to maintain each of the motor’s efficiency manually. To overcome this problem, this system is introduced. In this method, we calculate the efficiency, monitor the temperature, current and speed of the motors using CAN protocol. This protocol is efficient compared to many other wired protocols .They communicates without any data loss, within a confined area, which would be perfect for industries.

Numerical Analysis of the Bearing Capacity of Stone Columns Improved Ground
Stone columns are a suitable technique for increasing the bearing capacity of soft and weak soils. In this study the results of a series of finite element analyses on square footing rested on both improved and unimprove...
An Efficient Virtual Machine Migration Technique in Cloud Datacenter
The gist of cloud computing come from the concept of virtualization. It is a way of materializing a number of guest OS on a single host server such that CPU and memory resources of the host machine are shared with the g...
Thermodynamic Analysis and Optimization of CO2 based Transcritical Cycle
The Montreal and Kyoto protocol are two frameworks towards a single goal of environment safety. These protocols suggest prohibiting the usage of synthetic refrigerants to prevent ozone layer depletion and control global...
Unsteady Convective Heat and Mass Transfer Flow In A Vertical Channel with Dissipative and Radiation Effects
We analyze the thermo diffusion effect on unsteady convective heat and mass transfer flow of a viscous fluid through a porous media in a vertical channel on whose walls a traveling thermal wavy is imposed. The governed...
Displacement Ventilation System for an Auditorium
This paper is the validation report for the performance of displacement ventilation with overhead conditioned air distribution system for an auditorium under a high cooling load. The validation is made out of a study ca...
