INEGALITATEA VENITURILOR GOSPODĂRIILOR ÎN ROMÂNIA

Abstract
Articolul prezintă rezultatele măsurării inegalităţii veniturilor gospodăriilor din România în perioada 1995-2008. A fost utilizat un set de indicatori ai inegalităţii, estimaţi pe baza datelor colectate prin Ancheta Integrată în Gospodării şi Ancheta Bugetelor de Familie, cercetări statistice realizate de Institutul Naţional de Statistică. Estimaţiile tuturor indicatorilor evidenţiază creşterea inegalităţii în 2006 comparativ cu 2000, urmată de o scădere semnificativă a acesteia în 2007 şi 2008. Rezultatele referitoare la anii 1995 şi 2000 nu indică o tendinţă la fel de evidentă: unii dintre aceştia arată o uşoară creştere, în timp ce alţii sugerează scăderea inegalităţii sau absenţa unui trend. Articolul reprezintă un prim rezultat al unui proiect de cercetare privind inegalitatea şi polarizarea socială.
