Inflence of Electric Field on the Melting Characteristics Burning Wax
Journal Title: Фізика і хімія твердого тіла - Year 2015, Vol 16, Issue 4
Abstract
A study of influence of homogeneous electric-field is undertaken on the processes of melting and burning of particles to the octadecane in mid air. It is shown that in the electric field on the initial stage diminishes speed of melting that results in the increase of time of melting. It is set that under act of electric-field there is an increase of speed of burning of drops to the octadecane and displacement of flame in direction of electric-field.

Electrophysical Properties of Nanocomposites on the Basis of Polychlorotrifluoroethylene and Magnesium Oxide Modified with Copper Iodide
The electrophysical properties of magnesium oxide chemically modified with copper iodide have been studied in the superfrequency range and low-frequency in the temperature range (25 – 170) оС and a concentration of from...
Crystalline, Magnetic and Domain Structure of Epitaxial Ferrite-Garnet Films (Review)
The article gives a literary review of the current state of research of ferrite-garnet films. The basic crystalline and magnetic characteristics of thin films of iron-yttrium garnet are considered. We analyzed the causes...
The Nature of the Formation of the Compounds MeIMeIIIP2S6(Se6) (where MeI - Cu, Ag; MeIII - In, Bi, Cr) and Methods of Growing for Their Single Crystals
Physico-chemical interaction in the systemsMeIMeIIIS2(Se2) -“P2S4(Se4)” was studied using X-ray powder diffraction and differential thermal analysis. The technological conditions of growing single crystals for the compou...
An Investigation of Methanol Anomalous Diffusion in Mesoporous Silica
Methanol transport in mesoporous silica is investigated. It is demonstrated that usual approach based on the second Fick’s law fails describing the experimental kinetic data. Contrary, the solution of the time-fractional...
Nonradiative Resonance Energy Transfer in Nanoscale Systems and its Practical Application
The nonradiative resonant energy transfer in systems containing quantum dots and metal nanoparticles underlies an accurate and sensitive analytical methods. Because the efficiency of energy transfer depends strongly on t...
