Journal Title: International scientific journal Science and Innovation - Year 2025, Vol 4, Issue 1
Abstract
This article examines the effect of gnawing pests on the growth and development of vegetable (tomato and cabbage) crops and trap plants. According to it, when the species of gnawing pests of vegetable and trap crops were observed in different phases of development, it was found that the most numerous species was the winter moth. The study showed that out of 100 collected worms, an average of 90.0 were descendants, and 91.0 were worms of a new generation. When determining the pre-wintering density, the average 1m2 in the autumn tunlama was 1.7 units, while the Agrotis segetum was 1.4 units. The incidence of algae and calves during the season was slightly higher, that is, 3.9-2.3 units.
