INFLUENCE OF DIFFERENT SOURCES OF INFORMATION ON ASQISITION OF NEW PSYCHOMOTOR ACTIVITIES

Abstract

The in tro duc tion of tu i tion ac cor ding to the pro gram of ni ne-year ele men tary school de man ded that many scho ols had to fi t out the ir clas sro oms and gymna si ums with mo dern audio and vi sual de vi ces and com pu ters. The pre vi ew of the re cor ding of the ex pertly de mon stra ted mo tion fol lo wed by the pre ci sely for mu la ted ex pla na ti on, the drawing or the the ki no gram may con tri bu te the le ar ning pro cess, sin ce it ena bles chil dren to cre a te a cle ar con cep tion of the mo tion that has to be le ar ned. It is use ful to men tion that we can al ways use eit her slow mo tion or show the re co r ding over and over. By using the men ti o ned advan ta ges the te ac her can fo cus his at ten tion on mo ti va tion, as si stan ce, er ror cor rec tion and fe ed back gi ving in stead of on de mon stra tion and ex pla na ti on of the mo ve nent it self. In or der to eva lu a te and com pa re the in fl u en ce of dif fe rent so ur ces of in for mation on ac qu i si ti on of the new psycho mo tor ac ti vity this pa per of fe rs the ex pe ri ment on the sam ple of 43 se cond gra de stu dents (ni ne-year ele men tary school) di vi ded in to two ho mo ge no us sub spe ci mens. Both gro ups we re le ar ning the sa me new psycho mo tor ac tivity, but ac cor ding to two dif fe rent so ur ces of in for ma tion. The fi rst gro up was le ar ning thro ugh the met hod usu ally em ployed in the prac ti ce of lo wer ele men tary te ac hing on that le vel. The ot her gro up was le ar ning by watching the vi deo re cor ding of the ex pertly de mon stra ted mo tion com bi ned with the audio re cor ding. Ac cor ding to the da ta ob ta i ned thro ugh sta ti sti cal pro ces sing it is pos si ble to con clu de that the ot her gr o up le ar ned stati sti cally mo re suc cessful.
