Influence of External Pressures of Different Symmetry on the Phase Transitions and Thermodynamic of the RbHSO4 Ferroelectrics
Journal Title: Фізика і хімія твердого тіла - Year 2015, Vol 16, Issue 2
Abstract
We use the four-sublattice model of the RbHSO4 crystal modified by taking into account the piezoelectric coupling to the strains ei, ej . Within the mean field approximation we calculate the components of the polarization vector and static dielectric permittivity tensor of mechanically clamped and free crystals, as well as their piezoelectric characteristics. We study the influence of hydrostatic pressure ph and uniaxial stresses pi on the phase transition and physical characteristics of the crystal. A good quantitative description of the experimental data is obtained.

On the Use of Thermoelectric Cooling In Cosmetology
This paper presents the analysis of modern cryotherapy methods that are used to remedy skin defects in cosmetology. It is shown that traditional cryotherapy methods have a number of shortcomings, such as impossibility to...
Investigation of Band Structure of ZrNiSn1-xGax Semiconductor Solid Solution
The mechanism of simultaneous generation of donor-acceptor pairs in ZrNiSn1-xGax semiconductor solid solution is established. The modeled distribution of atoms in the crystal lattice of ZrNiSn1-xGax showed that the speed...
Thermoelectric Effect in Nanoribbons of Doped Graphene
The theoretical study of the thermoelectric effect in nanoribbons of doped graphene had been fulfilled for the cases of armchair and zigzag with the relevant electronic states (with a gap and no gap in the energy spectru...
The CompositeNickel Hydroxide/Activated Carbonas Electrode Material in theBattery Storage Devices
The paper presents the results of studies of the structure and electrochemical properties of composite β-Ni(OH)2/C. It is shown that the diffractograms composite sintered β-Ni(OH)2/C in addition to peaks characteristic N...
