Influence of N-phenyl-2-naphthylamine on the Activity of Adenylate Cyclase Signaling System and the Virulence of Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. sepedonicus
Journal Title: Журнал ÑтреÑÑ-физиологии и биохимии - Year 2016, Vol 12, Issue 4
Abstract
The effect of N-phenyl-2-naphthylamine was obtained from exudates of pea root on growth, virulence and signaling-specific of potato phytopathogen Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. sepedonicus. It is shown that the compound in a physiological concentration of the peas 9 mkM had no effect on C. michiganensis subsp. sepedonicus, but when exposed to N-FNA in a concentration of 45 mkM was observed reduction in growth of planktonic culture C. michiganensis subsp. sepedonicus, as well as changes in the activity of adenylyl cyclase signaling system components in this phytopathogen.

Effect of salicylic acid treatment on cadmium toxicity and leaf lipid composition in sunflower
The ameliorative effect of salicylic acid (SA) on cadmium (Cd) toxicity in sunflower plants was studied by investigating plant growth and fatty acid composition. Sunflower plants in two leaves stage were exposed to CdCl2...
28-Homobrassinolide Modulate Antenna Complexes and Carbon Skeleton of Brassica juncea L. under Temperature Stress
The aim of present study was to explore the ameliorative impact of 28-homoBL on morpho-physiological attributes, photosynthetic pigments and sugars of Brassica juncea L. exposed to oxidative stress caused by extre...
Salinity Induced Changes in β-carotene, Thiamine, Riboflavin and Ascorbic Acid Content in Spinacia oleracea L. var. All Green
Vitamins are the functional components of various enzyme-regulated biochemical reactions occurring to create energy. Vitamin contents of plants are known to show altered metabolism under the influence of salinity. Not mu...
The Relationships Among an Activity of the Alternative Pathway Respiratory Flux, a Content of Carbohydrates and a Frost-Resistance of Winter Wheat
A content of carbohydrates and dehydrins in the leaves, activities of the alternative (AP) and the cytochrome (CP) pathways of respiration in mitochondria, isolated from leaves, during cold hardening continuous light (5...
The participation of cyanide-resistant respiration in heat generation and antioxidative defense of cell in winter wheat shoots under cold influence
It was shown, that activation of the cyanide-resistant respiration by treatment of 30 mkM antimycine A and 10 mM hydrogen peroxide during 24 hours induced the intensification of heat generation by tissues of winter wheat...
