INFLUENCE OF THE GAS METAL ARC WELDING REGIME PARAMETERS ON THE DISPERSE AND CHEMICAL COMPOSITION OF THE WELDING FUME PARTICLES

Journal Title: Физика аэродисперсных систем - Year 2018, Vol 0, Issue 55

Abstract

The influence of the gas (СО2) metal arc welding regime parameters on the disperse composition of the welding fume inhalable particles is studied. Dependences of the bimodal particle size distribution on the ratio of the welding arc energy to the volume of the consumed electrode wire in the range from 40 to 70 kJ/cm3 are demonstrated. The results of measurements of elemental composition and specific surface of the welding fume modes are presented.
