Influence of the tax policy of the authorities in Galicia in the middle of the 19th – beginning of the 20th centuries on hunting and fishing

Abstract
The public authorities of Galicia issued a number of legal acts regulating taxation to regulate the organization of hunting and fishing. The level of taxation of products of hunting and fishing in the realization of game and fish, taxation of hunting and fishing rights, taxation of hunting dog species is covered. A historical analysis of the taxation of hunting and fishing products of Galicia from the fifteenth century was conducted. A comparative analysis of taxes on hunting and domestic animals has been carried out. The law enforcement of the Galician state administration bodies in the implementation of the requirements of the tax legislation is analyzed. The Galician Hunting Society and political institutions’ influence on processes that influenced the size of taxation and the practice of law enforcement was illustrated.
