Influence of Thickness on Optical Properties of Metal Substituted Phthalocyanine Thin Films
Journal Title: International Journal of engineering Research and Applications - Year 2017, Vol 7, Issue 9
Abstract
The interest of electronics industry in new organic semiconductors for the manufacture of optoelectronic devices has increased substantially in the last decade. Organic semiconductors thin films have also been used in optoelectronics and photovoltaic devices. They exhibit a high potential for production of low cost, efficient and low temperature optoelectronic devices with the option for large area applications. To develop better lightcapturing nanostructures, we plan to connect an excellent light-harvesting organic semiconductor. The aim of this work is to study the influence of film thickness on spectral behavior in the UV-Visible range of thermally evaporated metal substituted phthalocyanine thin films. In this paper, we reported the optical studies of two organic semiconductors such as copper phthalocyanine (CuPc) and cobalt phthalocyanine (CoPc). For that, we investigate the UV spectrum at room temperature obtained from thermally evaporated thin films of these organic materials.

Aspect of Cantilever Deflection of Bridge Deck Due to Material Nonlinearity
When a structure is analysed for linear elastic behavior, the analysis is carried out on the premise that a proportional relationship exists between loads and displacements. This assumes a linear material stress-strain r...
Image Edge Detection and Segmentation by using Histogram Thresholding method
A new approach used for image edge deduction, segmentation and normalization illumination under varying lighting conditions are presented. Edge detection refers to the process of identifying and locating sharp by applyin...
Effect of Exhaust Gas Recirculation on Performance and Emissions of a Modern Small Diesel Engine Fueled with Biodiesel-Kerosene Blends
The objective of this paper is to evaluate the effects of biodiesel blends with kerosene, with exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) on a diesel engine, and to compare performance and emission results with that of conventional...
Comparative assessment of landslide susceptibility by logistic regression and first order second moment method: Case study of Bujumbura Peri-Urban Area, Burundi.
Several landslides incidents in the Bujumbura region are reported regularly by independent sources. However, few studies on the causes in the region have been conducted and no record of susceptibility map at a regional e...
