Informal education of public servants in Ukraine: legal aspects

Abstract
The research paper studies the problem of creation of legal basis for implementation in Ukraine of informal education for public servants according to the European standards. National and international legal acts that define the concept of lifelong learning of adults were analyzed. It is proved that the Law of Ukraine “On Civil Service” and adopted bylaws regulate neither the issue of informal education of public servants nor the official recognition of the results of their informal learning. A number of proposals were made on legal regulation of the issues of informal education of public servants and confirmation of its results.
