INFORMATION AND CONSULTING SUPPORT AS A COMPONENT OF INNOVATIVE ACTIVITY IN RURAL AREAS OF UKRAINE

Abstract
The growth of productivity of agricultural machinery and technology over the past decades has led to a dramatic reduction in the need for human labour involved in agricultural production. The above changes have strengthened the tendencies of urbanization and the decline of the village in Ukraine, which, along with economic instability and macroeconomic problems, adversely affects the quality and standards of living of the rural population and the prospects for the introduction and successful dissemination of innovative business initiatives in rural areas. In view of the given range of problems, an important scientific and practical problem in modern conditions is the formation and substantiation of scientific decisions aimed at using the potential of the basic components of the innovation activity development in rural areas of Ukraine, one of which is competent, full and convenient in terms of the form of implementation information and consulting support for innovative business initiatives, ideas and projects in the rural areas.It is noted that information and consulting support for innovation activity in the rural areas should be implemented on the basis of a systematic approach and structured focusing on the need for a specific list of functions. Recommendations concerning improvement of information and communication support of innovative activity in rural areas based on the specifics of innovation activity in rural areas and effective use of the available resource base and communication channels are given. At the same time, providing full support for the development of innovation activities in the rural areas will require building an effective information and communication infrastructure, ensuring access of businesses and population to the Internet.
