INFORMATION MODEL FOR THE REGISTRATION OF DISASTERS AFFECTING THE ROAD INFRASTRUCTURE

Abstract
The operation of road infrastructure is linked to a number of events that are caused by natural disasters and other crisis situations. These events lead to a partial reduction or complete denial of the capacity of this infrastructure. This can lead to both short-term interruptions in transport performance and to the heavier decommissioning of large-scale road infrastructure. The main purpose of this publication is to analyze and classify these adverse events, taking into account their impact on the road infrastructure's road infrastructure. Common guidelines have also been formulated to provide them with information and build a cloud-based online information system that will improve traffic management in transport. The model of this information system is based on traditional GIS solutions, and the visualization is planned to be realized through web-based technology tools as well as embedded in GPS navigation systems.
