INFORMATION SECURITY IN E-LEARNING

Abstract
The article deals with information security issues in e-learning systems. The information security threats and objects that need protection were considered. The views of problems of information privacy issues in e-learning were investigated. The key features of the establishment of the security system to the participants of e-learning system were demonstrated, a particular teacher’s role as a provider of knowledge and skills in an open information and communication educational system was emphasized. A particular task of the modern e-learning on the formation of citizen’s competence complexes for effective contacts with the information sources for strengthening the information security was pointed out.
