Information Technology in Rural India
Journal Title: International Journal of Modern Engineering Research (IJMER) - Year 2014, Vol 4, Issue 1
Abstract
Communication is one of the major components and driving force for the development of rural areas in India. Communication can be done in many ways among them conventionally communication includes electronic media, human communication and in the present days Information technology (IT). Villagers also have their own information needs. They need to know about their village, their districts, natural resources around them, about seasons and monsoons, about market rates of different commodities and about government schemes. They also need to know how much money is being allocated for rural development in their area and how much is being spent. And all these so-called bits of information are related intensely to their lives and livelihood. A connected PC is an effective tool to do all this and much more.

Composite Analysis of Phase Resolved Partial Discharge Patterns using Statistical Techniques
Partial discharges (PDs) in high-voltage (HV) insulating systems originate from various local defects, which further results in degradation of insulation and reduction in life span of equipment. One of the most widely...
Non linear analysis of Robot Gun Support Structure using Equivalent Dynamic Approach
Robot guns are being increasingly employed in automotive manufacturing to replace risky jobs and also to increase productivity. Using a single robot for a single operation proves to be expensive. Hence for cost...
Analysis of Conditions in Boundary Lubrications Using Bearing Materials
In order to clearly establish the tribological potential of these alloys as bearing materials, the tribological parameters of the RAR Zn-Al alloys are compared to parameters of the CuPb15Sn8 lead-tin bronze, as a w...
